The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray finally is here with its new design and even better performance.
Each generation of Corvette has brought forward many changes that purists may either like, or cry foul over. Chevrolet’s new C7 Corvette is bringing forth a huge modernization of the classic Corvette shape, and lots of refinements in every way to make it a car worthy of competing with super-cars. From using a solid aluminum reinforced chassis, to carbon fiber body parts, every one of those sharp, sculpted inlets and
vents has been created to help to not only make the car more aerodynamic but help improve cooling at the same time. It’s clear that Chevrolet has designed this car with performance on their mind.
Corvette’s have always had very good performance for the price, and this one is no exception. However, this time around, gone is the usual tradition of reusing vents and other interior pieces with ones from cheaper cars. This time, the new Corvette has a very well designed, trimmed, and driver oriented interior that adds lots of much needed luxury appeal. Overall, with the improved performance, improved interior, and while having that same low price of $51,000, the Corvette is absolutely the best “supercar” for the price. Many have always called it the best budget “supercar”, but I believe this new iteration has nothing on it that looks or feels “budget”.
